Spoken

I did my first stand-up / spoken word performance at Bash Out on Saturday and I'm actually really pleased about how it went. It could be massively improved but I know what needs doing to it. Despite the room being empty when I was due to start I managed to pull in 20 or 25 people and keep them there with my 'The Matrix: The Pantomime' piece and then filled the rest of my allocated hour(!) with a recording about identifying bat calls (thanks Vilas) and some slides of bat photos stolen from the net. It was a massive rush to pull together. I wrote most of the perfromance on Wednesday and then spent Saturday afternnon pulling the graphics together. Thanks to Spokesy for help with that. It was really good fun and went down well, so thanks to everyone who came along.
